I’ve worked as a designer for over 10 years, mostly in the automotive world. I’ve had the chance to work with teams at Supercheap Auto and National Tyre & Wheel, and a few others along the way. I’ve always liked the mix of design, photography and marketing because it keeps things interesting and gives me plenty of ways to tell a story visually.

These days my wife, our dog and I are travelling around Australia in our caravan. I still work part-time for National Tyre & Wheel, about twenty hours a week, which I’m grateful for. It says a lot about the trust we’ve built, and with unlimited Starlink I can stay connected wherever we end up.

I use AI a lot in my work now too. It’s not a shortcut, just another creative tool that helps me get ideas out faster.

What I enjoy most is the people side of things. I’ve been lucky to work with great teams and clients who often turn into long-term friends. For me, that’s the best part of the job.
